Wednesday walk along Geneva
It was in Summer in Geneva, the city on Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) has a picturesque old town with many attractions, beautiful parks, and fantastic mountain panoramas all around. In the Geneva lake basin, you can immediately see the water jet, which is up to 140 meters high.
In July this year, 16 European national teams are competing in Switzerland for the title of European Women's Football Championship. The 16 qualified teams are playing in eight cities across Switzerland, including Geneva. That's why in park was this beautiful flower decoration on the lake shore.
The European seat of the UN and the ICRC are located here. One of the city's attractions is the fascinating sculpture “The Broken Chair.” This monumental work of art is also one of Geneva's landmarks.

That Broken ch;air near the UN always hits me, such a simple shape yet a beuatiful heavy message about what war leaves behind. I love how you framed it in the city mood, and I dont think I’ll forget that feeling anytime soon :) Even my tidy brain wants to stand still for it, numbers can wait today.
