The Roman Festival in Alba Iulia

Alba Iulia is located at an altitude of 270 m, about 100 km from Cluj and 240 km from Arad. It is the site of ancient Apulum, which was founded by the Romans in the 2nd century AD and destroyed by the Tatars in 1241. In the 16th and 17th centuries, it was the seat of the princes of Transylvania. Last week, an interesting festival took place in this city.
From 1599 to 1601, Alba Iulia was the capital of the united principalities of Wallachia, Transylvania, and Moldavia, a nice place to be visited in Romania.
