The great wall of China

The Great Wall at Jinshanling about 130 km northeast of Beijing, is one of the best preserved parts with many special features and beautiful views. It was built on the Great and Small Golden Mountains. that is only a section of the Great Wall of China. Was build during the Ming Dynasty between 1368-1644. Here a mix of restored and original Walls with breattaking panoramic views. The entire Great Wall is about 21 km length. From Jinshaling to Simatai you have to walk about 4 hour.

Is not just a wall it is a symbol of human ambition, built by hand, resilience, much work and igenuity. The views are amazing especially from high section like Jinshanling. you have to see it in person.

On the way there are also the many about 67 watchtowers. Depending on the territory, they are square or rectangular, with 3 or 5 loops. Most of them are one or two levels high.

It's great you managed these photos without tourist. I remember seeing a YouTuber showing how some of the guard towers had the archers looking inward meaning at some points of the wall it was to keep people in.
