The cathedral in Bern

Today I invite you to one of the largest churches in Switzerland the Bern Cathedral over 600 years old, with late Gothic architecture a landmark of Bern. The cathedral with three naves and no transept towers over the roofs of Bern's old town, not far from the railway station. First a photo from the park next side of it,as you can see there is always a part in renovation.

The cathedral knows as the Bern Minister attracts many tourists from all over the world.

Inside you will finde a serene atmosphere vith beautiful craftet altars and chapels. Here you can admire the architectural grandeur as well as the spiritual significance of this place.

If you are climbing to the tower, from the top you can enjoy panoramic amazing views. The tower is open every day, entry is CHF 5 and the two viewing platforms offer a wonderful view as far to the Alps. Two stair allow for a safe way up and down. Next time more.
