For today a few new views from the national museum in the city of Schwyz. The exhibition “The emergence of Switzerland from the 12th to the 14th century” is an exciting journey through time. Besides virtual quides and historical exponents you will surely have an interesting visit.
Schwyz city and its surroundings are well known for the cherry blossom, many cherry specialties and desserts as well as many excursion possibilities from this place. Such one is the Stoosbahnen with the car-free mountain village of Stoos. The funicular from Schwyz to Stoos is the steepest in the world.
