Lucerne by night
It was a beautiful light show in Lucerne already for the 5th time last week. Soon when you arrive at the train station in the evening Lucerne lights up in a new look. The electricity required for the light installations at the Lilu Festival is roughly equivalent to the annual consumption of one or two single-family homes, but this year, as in the year before, it was economized. Around 25 light installations were on show, including a visual train ride through the mountains of Switzerland and an animation created by humans and artificial intelligence in equal parts.
There was also a ball-shaped installation under the KKL called Museum of the Moon, which showed detailed NASA images of the moon's surface. The moon hangs under the roof, directly above the plaza, and it is reflected in the Lake of Lucerne. This beautiful work of art weighs forty kilos and is about 500,000 smaller than its original. You can get to start your tour also from here with the fascinating light installation by artist Luke Jerram.
The famous wooden bridge differently, very popular by all tourists for a photo session.
