Geneva from above
Today I invite you to the top of St. Pierre Cathedral to look above Geneva, amazing view from the soul of the citty. On the top you are rewardedwith one of the most breathtaking panoramic views to the lake of Geneva, to the iconic Jet dEau, the old town and the Alps and Jura mountains.
First you have to climb 157 spiral steps. On the top you have two tower South and North Tower. Always have water with you.
The narow spiral staircases take you through centuries old stone passagesthat feels timeless. The combinatio of effort, height and history creates a sense of conection big citty and stunning landscape that surronds Geneva.
The cathedral bell is a masive bronze structure, it is not just a decorative relic, it still chimes on special occasions. A powerful moment here above Geneva with the Alps on the horizont, between past and present.
Have a great day!

Wie alt sind die Bilder? Sie sehen so verblasst aus. Oder ist das ein Filter?
All photos were taken about a week ago; it was very hot up there, no filter. Or the strong sunlight disturbed the exposure and colors. Many thanks!
157 steps is quite a lot! But I guess the views from above a definitely worth the effort :)
The bell looks iconic and beautiful overhead views of the city.
