Come with me in Latenium Museum

The Laténium Museum in Neuchâtel, Switzerland on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel with a beautiful view of the magnificent alpine panorama, preserves more than 525,000 objects , these are mainly regional archaeological discoveries. From these half a million finds, 3000 objects were selected to be displayed in the showcases of the permanent exhibition here. The collections of the museum are constantly extended by finds from archaeological discoveries on the territory of the canton of Neuchâtel.

the museum is inaugurated in 2001, as a result of the numerous archaeological finds that have been made in the waters of Lake Neuchâtel since the 19th century, the museum enjoys an international reputation. The mythical story of the Swiss pile dwellings houses has already fascinated many visitors.

This boat was built in the year 182 AD.
