Come with me along the Botanical Garden

Today I invite you to the Botanical Garden from the University of Zurich.
In spring shows here its most beautiful side. It's not that far yet, but a visit to the tropical houses is certainly worthwhile, even in bad weather. The new botanical garden was built in 1976.

It is very easy to reach by streetcar number 2 from the main station Zurich to Höschgasse station.

Around about 8,000 plant species are cultivated here. The aim is to show a good, scientifically supervised representation of the global plant world.

8,000 plant species is a lot, are all of them available for viewing to the general public?

I think it will be a wonderful discovery to explore these different species at botanical garden, some looked foreign and exotic :)
