A Rest break in Chur

avatar

Have you known that Chur city is the oldest city in Switzerland? a great rest time here also with the Glacier Express route. This train runs between St. Moritz and Zermatt in about eight hours. You have along the way a few rest break stops. In the short time in Chur, from the main station you can explore the old town, it is a car free zone.

Here we haven't enough time for a coffee; we were afraid that our train would leave without us. No problem but we got one in the train.

Haha thanks for taking us on a trip to Switzerland!🇨🇭

Nothing like an escape to the mountains for a little historic town seeing and maybe some skiing with my buddy @godfish who would like to hit the slopes!

Cool, let's meet there when there's enough snow! https://en.sklarnaharrachov.cz/

I'll reach it from Rokytnice nad Jizerou, which is some 25 kilometers far, but you guys can stay in the brewery, it has several rooms for rent too ;)

(Edited)

I've been to Zermatt, yet I do not recall visiting Chur :))

If only the post was a tad more elaborated (and pinned to the map), it could have been curated by Worldmappin ;)
