A journey across the lakes

The morning spending on the porch, with coffee and admiring the beautiful landscape. From Biel startet, a picturesque hilly landscape opens up onto the Three-Lakes Region ship trip. Surrounded by the three large lakes: Lakes Biel, Neuchatel and Murten. The Broye and Zihl canals and the River Aare connect the lakes to form for visitors a fantastic waterway. Founded in 1127, the monastery on St. Peter's Island at the photo below is now an excellent hotel and restaurant. Today's small island can also be reached on foot from Erlach.

When you make in Gleresse a stop you have a funicular transport through the magnificent vineyards to Prêles as well as a magnificent view of the Three Lakes region.
