Today, I once again advanced a lot into the story of The Walking Dead and time I “leap” into the story. The events I witnessed today dictate the future of the next season, at least to me it seems that way.

If you do not like to read long paragraphs, skip over to the bottom of the post and watch the gameplay.

Before we begin, let’s do a little recap of the events that led to this moment. Or you could read all about it from the post directly.

Previously

Kenny and Lee had finally caught the guy that had been ringing the bells in the bell towers. But, they soon find out that it was not a “guy” but a girl and her name was Molly. She kept on asking if they were from Crawford. Lee and z Kenny asked about Crawford and their practices, she pointed to the zombies that were impaled on the metallic poles.
Their luck were thin as the zombies came back thanks to the sound of the “ruckus” they made when they met each other. Molly escaped the streets onto the staircase of a building using her pick but Clementine, Kenny, and Lee were left behind. Clementine begged her to help and she helped them Clementine and Kenny up on the staircase. Seeing that Lee might die, she threw her pick and Lee used it to open up the lid of a manhole.

Zombies were huddled together around a corpse and Lee had to get on the other side. He saw a broken ladder that led to the opening of a well. Lee moved around the tunnels, hidden, activating the water supply and moving the zombies around until he reached the end of the tunnel. On the way, he found the dead body of Chuck. His insides were out and he had a revolver on his hand. He probably went to the sewers as he thought he would be safe down there.

He tried to climb the broken ladder by jumping off the sign on the wall but the sign came off and he couldn’t reach it. He got back up and saw an opening on the wall. He went through and found that there were people inside. They were also alarmed to find a person inside their den.
An old guy by the name Vernon drew his gun and an equally old lady instigated him to shoot Lee. They thought that Lee was from Crawford. Lee told that he wasn’t and took the gun off his hand. When things calmed down, he told he needed help to get back to his house where he needed a doctor. Vernon agreed and went.

Back at the house, Kenny drunk himself to mess while Ben sat by, watching him drink. Lee searched the whole house for Clementine but still couldn’t find her. He asked Ben but he also didn’t know and said that he left her to play outside all by herself. Lee went out and found no one. He searched the place and heard a knock on the garage, he came close and found Clementine inside the garage, and that she found a boat there.

Now, the gang decided to loot the parts needed for the boat and they would only find the necessary things at Crawford. The only thing that stopped them was the arrival of nightfall.

This Time

IMG_7960.jpeg

Nightfall arrived.

Kenny pulled Lee to the side and addressed a problem he faced. The boat that they discovered was a 30 footer, meaning that it could only carry 5 people tops, not even children would hold beyond that. Kenny asked if they could cut Molly loose.

Vernon showed up at the gates and brought in an old friend of his to assist in the search of resources inside Crawford. She was both a member of it and a student before the pandemic started.
Lee made a last minute headcount before heading out.

IMG_7961.jpeg

They reached the entrance to Crawford undetected, through the sewer system. Lee asked them to be peaceful until necessary.

Lee creeped up to a guy walking only to find that it was a zombie, it started to walk toward Lee. He lunged his axe toward its face and punctured a hole in it. Lee turned toward Molly and asked how was a walker inside Crawford.

A few walkers came into view and so Lee orders everyone to head inside.

IMG_7968.jpeg

There was no sign or walker activity inside the place, yet. They didn’t even contemplate as to what might’ve happened to Crawford, Molly made a remark saying, “In the end, the dead always wins”. Vernon claimed that their situation was a bit better. Lee clarifies that it was easier to deal with walkers than human guards with firearms. Kenny chimes in and tells that they should only be careful of being boxed in by walkers.

IMG_7965.jpeg

Brie led the way to a classroom that was actually a base of operations for Crawford. An armoury room was at the back of it.

IMG_7969.jpeg

Brie pointed to another map that had all the rooms of the keep(place). For the battery for the boat, Vernon pointed to the motor pool area, for fuel Brie suggested they look at the Maintenance shed named Herman’s and lastly for the medicine, Molly pointed to the Nurse’s office. They went over for who would go with whom, Kenny and Brie would head toward the maintenance shed for fuel, Christa and Vernon would head to the Nurse’s station, Lee and Molly would look for the battery. Meanwhile, Ben and Clementine would stay there while Ben would try to get the armoury door open with the tools they had brought I, Kenny was hopeful that they get the armoury open before they gather the components as they might need to shoot their way out of the place.
Kenny took the hatchet from Lee and left him with a gun and everyone was out.

IMG_7971.jpeg

Before Lee could head out, Ben calls out to him and tells about his guilty conscience. He wanted to travel to Kenny that he was the real reason why the bandits could infiltrate the place in the first place. Lee asked him not to as that would set Kenny off like a mad man. Ben understood and decided to keep shut, again, for the moment.

IMG_7972.jpeg

The rules of Crawford.
Their leader’s picture was beside it but I don’t want to make him any more famous.

IMG_7974.jpeg

Lee found his way out to the alleyway and jumped off the dumpster to the entrance of the garage, the place was still fresh and no dead was around. I personally think that Crawford fell not too long ago, could be some hours or a day or 2.

Lee was about to enter the garage but the shutter wouldn’t open. Suddenly, a corpse of a walker fell from the roof and Molly jumped toward it and kept hitting it with her pick. Lee was taken aback and told that she got him.
Lee explained that the shutter wouldn’t open.

IMG_7975.jpeg

Molly gave him the equipment she had procured in her bag and just then they hear the cries of the dead in the alleyway.

They used the thing and got inside and narrowly escaped the teeth of the zombies. Lee questioned her as to why she did what she did. She used semantics and dodged the question and told the usual story of a walker trying to get a chunk out of her.

Lee searched the place for the battery. The truck didn’t have it, he suspected the car might have it. He lowered it but the system was broken and it dropped the car.

IMG_7976.jpeg

Fortunately, Lee found the battery. Unfortunately, it’s security system was activated and started to blare. That attracts all the zombies that they had escaped moments ago, Molly grabs the pick from Lee’s hand ready to kill any that would try to enter.

Lee opened the screws and the pipes and extracts it to molly’s backpack. The zombies had entered the garage in droves and they hopped on top of the truck. Lee found a way to escape, through the top. He shpt the glass off and Molly used her pick to hurl herself up. Then, she helped him out.

They were not out of danger yet. They had to cross to the main building. Molly made the jump thank to her pick.

IMG_7977.jpeg

Lee comes to the edge and found that the drop was high and the distance was far. He went back, took a run and jumped! Molly caught his hand as he lands on the edge of the building. They make it back inside the hallway of Crawford but Molly does not go with him.

IMG_7978.jpeg

She tells that she still had some unfinished business and that she would hold onto the battery as an insurance that they won’t leave without her and so she darts.

Lee strolls through the hallway when he found Kenny and Brie dashing through the common door and behind them were dozens of walkers.

IMG_7980.jpeg

Lee shot one in the face that was blocking him from closing the door. Then, he grabbed the hatchet that Kenny was carrying, that fell to the floor with the fuel cans when they entered the hallway, and put it through the handles of the door. That held the door for the time.

Lee was relieved that they found a ton of fuel for the boat. He helped carry it to the class.

Meanwhile, Ben still could not get it to open. Kenny helped him with it. Then only team that wasn’t back was the medical unit.

IMG_7981.jpeg

Lee went back to check up on them only to find that the entrance was swarmed with dead. He shot all of the, and found that Christa and Vernon were still struggling to open the cabinet since it had a digital lock.

They start to look for clues when Lee found a video tape on the table. He used the video camera that laid there and found a woman in distress, talking with the nurse of the place. Apparently, she was pregnant and that meat that she had become a liability to Crawford. She begged the nurse to give her more pills but she was denied and left the room. From the video, the gang found only half the code to they lock.

Lee started to look for another tape when he remembered that the guy Molly was beating up the same nurse in the video. So, he went back to the alleyway and brought back the tape from the dead guy. Fortunately, l the guy had the login code written in a paper that was stashed in his shirt pocket. Vernon told his that the lock combination was a 4 digit code but on the paper, it was 6. He took the code and brought it back.

He played the tape and found the same woman desperately asking the doctor to fake the report. He denied and told that the procedure would have to take place then and there. She knew what she wanted, her baby. She quickly grabbed a knife and stabbed it on the doctor’s hip and ran out of the place. The doctor kept saying. “No, no, no…”. Vernon got the door open and took the meds that would be sufficient for both Vernon’s people and Lee’s.

When everyone left, Lee found another tape that was on the ground. This time he found Molly in the video… with that nurse as he zipped his zipper and told, “As much fun as it was for both of us, I can only give you the meds one last time”. Molly wanted more but he could not do that. He told that Oberson had someone down to the Nurse station and found that some supplies were missing, that would put the doctor in jeopardy. Molly said she needed more of the medicine for her sister but the doctor would not jeopardise his position. She pushed the guy in the back before she left the place.

IMG_7982.jpeg

On the way back, Lee meets Molly. She said she was out “sightseeing”.

Ben was freaking out on whether he should say it to Kenny or not. Just when Kenny got the armoury door open, Ben spilled the beans. He told that he was the one that supplied the bandits with supplies since he thought that would keep the bandits away from them.

IMG_7985.jpeg

Kenny was furious. Somehow, Vernon and Lee held him back. Kenny shouted that he would leave Ben since the boat was not big enough for all of them. Lee told that they should vote on it. Clementine voted for him to go on the boat, guess what Lee voted for? A no, lol.

IMG_7983.jpeg

That decided it, Brie told that she also should get a vote but she got turned into zombie food. Molly asked them if they could leave now. Lee shouted for Vernon to join them and went through the armoury.

IMG_7986.jpeg

Lee didn’t have the chance to shut the door behind him so the walkers got past there and would swarm the place any minute. So, they started to head upwards.

They made it to the top. Vernon pointed to a sewer through which they could escape the place. They started to head downwards from the outside. Unfortunately for Ben, a Walker that was tied to the bell started to swing and grabbed Ben. It fell over but not before knocking Ben over. Lee caught him in the nick of time but his hands were slipping.

<center Its Choosing Time

IMG_7987.jpeg

Ben, in a sad tone, asked him to leave as Ben softened his grip. Lee grabbed him up and then went through the sewers and to the house where Omid was left all by himself. Kenny started to work on the boat right away. Vernon did a last check up on him and told that he would get better soon.

IMG_7988.jpeg

On the way out, Lee tried to apologise for Brie but Vernon told that he knew what kind of man Lee was, with the way he banged into his den and all. He made Lee an offer, to take Clementine off his hands as they were well supplied, hidden, and better equipped. Lee told that he would consider the offer. Vernon left.

IMG_7989.jpeg

On the way to Clementine’s room, Lee found Molly leaving. She told that she didn’t really like the water and would figure things out on her own now that Crawford was no more. She no longer would have to look behind her back. She also added that Clementine reminded her of her own and that she would make it now that Lee would be the one to take care of her. Before leaving, she added that she was not good in goodbyes and that he could tell them anything.

IMG_7990.jpeg

Clementine asked if Ben would be okay since he got verbally abused. Lee told that he had brought it upon himself thanks to his own actions. She asked if they would have enough time to look for her parents. Lee told her the truth and she broke into tears. Lee tried to reach out for her but turned toward the gleaming sun and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Lee was tired from all the jump, dash and saving but he would not leave her side. So, he kept the walkie-talkie on the table and slept at sofa beside the door. When he woke up… Clementine was GONE… AGAIN.

He searched the portion of the sofa beside him, empty. He went downstairs, silence. No sound, even the wind was quite.

IMG_7991.jpeg

He went out of the house, shouting for Clementine. That’s where he found the Clementine’s cap.

I see that this time you've got some difficult objectives, this video game I've seen it in other publications and I've seen it in other publications and its genre is very striking, but its graphics make me think that I was watching an animated movie of a comic, and it looks very funny, but dodging the zombies should not be easy.

Yeah, difficult indeed. What's great about these games is that the stories are so good that the graphics doesn't even matter. These are taken from novels and turned into games so the story line is imbued with perfection. Moreover, I personally love this game since I bought the ps4 with the sole intention of playing this game.
