The Bold Visit To The World Serpent ~ God Of War Ragnarok | Difficulty : Give Me God Of War
Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well.
After a long hiatus, I am back with the game I had started late 2024, still determined to finish in Give Me God of War mode. A lot has happened, and pressure from my personal life has asked for a full reevaluation of time allocation till recently, when the situation is less turbulent, and so I finally got some time to sit down for this action-packed journey I once started.
I'll try to keep things brief, and without further ado, let's begin!

The father-and-son duo free Tyr from the mines of Svartalfheim, travel through the doors, and head toward the realm between realms at Sindri and Brok's new home. Tyr greeted Mimir and was shocked to see his condition, but Mimir gleefully explained that his condition was much better in comparison to what he had been subjected to.
They enter Sindri's home, and Tyr greets Sindri and Brok and has his chains removed. Sindri pointed out that he had some promises he needed to fulfill. Tyr went to his new quarters and slept a free man. Kratos went to his room, ready to rest as he conversed with Mimir about Atreus.

Meanwhile, Atreus and Sindri head out for a little adventure. Atreus wanted to have a little conversation with the witch of the woods, Freya, about stopping their "mundane" feud and joining forces for the upcoming war. Sindri pointed out that they should meet the world serpent first and get some answers there.

They use the stone and go through the door toward midgard and after some adventure, they find the colossal snake. Atreus called out to him, and there he was, ready to answer his question. He asked about information on the upcoming war. Jormungandr told his one word, "Ironwood". Atreus was visibly frustrated and perplexed to know what this was.
Atreus and Sindri discussed further about Baldur and weighed whether what he and Kratos did was just as they headed toward Freya, as the boy had to get some answers out of the witch.

Atreus held a positive view of Freya when he approached her, and as soon as he did, she had him wrapped in vines. She took the mistletoe he had worn; it belonged to Baldur. She asked him to leave, and that's when Atreus blurted out that the All Father had visited them in Midgard and informed them that Ragnarok had been avoided. She knew it was a lie; Atreus told that the army of the giants was not coming since there were none alive at Jotunnheim, they had been there, and that he was the only one alive. Before him, it was his mother who guarded the giants, and they held prophecies about Loki stopping Atreus. He asked if she could join him against Odin... she was not emotionally ready. He further added that they broke out Tyr right out of Svartalfheim. She exclaimed that all realms were closed, but then they had found a way, and if they all band together against Odin, they can win Ragnarok.

But, she had heard enough and threw him out of her proximity and asked him not to return; she may not show him the same mercy.
Atreus and Sindri promptly returned to the door that would take them to the realm between realms.
That was it for today's game. I'll try to finish this game by this year XD.
