Hello gamers of hive, I hope you all are doing well.

After about a month of break from the gaming verse I am starting to pick up the crumbs I had left by in my last session.

Today, I shall show you guys my progress on TWD, episode 3.

Previously

Lee and Kenny managed to start the train without the help of Chuck, a guy who was living in the train bogeys, and soon they were on their way to Savannah, a city where Clementine’s parents were supposed to be in. On the way, Duck’s condition worsened as he coughed up blood, Katjaa asks Lee to ask Kenny to stop the train. When asked, Kenny fights Lee the two brawls hard before Lee asks him to use reason. Kenny stops the train and takes Katjaa and Duck inside the forest.

A shot was heard and a wail of disbelief comes from Kenny. Upon reaching him, we see that Katjaa had killed herself when she was given the choice to shoot her son. Katjaa could not bear to kill her only son. Lee steps up to do the task since no parent should ever have to do something this terrible to their own child.

This Time

An hour later.

Lee and Chuck shared a drink that Lee finds in Chuck’s belongings. Chuck asks if Kenny wanted some. Kenny agreed and he shared a drink as well. Lee went back to the bogey where Clementine was. She asked if they could go see her parents. Lee said that they might be dead since there was no communication from that place. Next, Lee teaches her how to shoot.

Lee comes up to the first bogey to the man in yellow jacket(Chuck), he asked Lee a good question. It was, “What the hell was their plan once they land in Savannah?”. Lee told that they would figure out once they get there. Lee went back inside and asked Kenny what their move’ll be. He replied, “We will look for a boat” and he was adamant that this plan was the best plan and choice they had had.

Lee went back to Clementine’s now empty compartment. Out of the blue came a confession that blew Lee’s beliefs. Ben told that he was the one who had been supplying the bandits from their reserves. Lee got extremely angry and threatened him to throw off the train, just a push and nobody would know. Ben replied, “They told me that they had one of my friends captured” and that got him to do all that. Lee was disappointed and went to his original destination.

Clementine was excited and asked Lee again if they would get to look for her parents. Lee said that they should remain positive and may meet with them in their path. Clementine complained about her hair being all smelly and the fact that it made her an easy target.

Lee cut her hair shorter. And suddenly an angry disappointed grunt came from the front, it was Kenny.

There was an obstruction in their path and unlike other thorns this one would explode at the slightest hint of spark. Ben suggested that they walk lol, Kenny, in a sad tone, told Ben that it was a stupid idea. Chuck got down and told that they could perhaps remove it from the path if they get the thing down.

From above, they hear 2 voices that was friendly, a man and a woman pokes their heads above this bridge and told that they could help them if Kenny and others were also friendlies. So, they asked one of the crew down there to come up and see the problem of the hanging container. Lee elects himself and walked up to the ladder. Kenny firmly told him that if anything went sideways, he would not let them escape.

Lee started to climb. As he got closer to the edge of the bridge he heard the man and woman speak, “A group of guys is exactly what we need”, the woman replied, “They may not be who we think they are” hinting that Lee and the others could be trouble. Lee got up there and the guy introduced himself as Omid and the lady as Christa.

Lee asked if they could help the group and in return they could join them in the train. Omid’s excitement in seeing a friendly man doubled when he saw a kid behind Lee, Clementine had climbed up the ladder to see what’s up. Omid made himself known to Clementine and told that it had been a while since he saw a kid.

Christa asked for Lee’s story. He came clean about his past and told that he was incarcerated and was being taken to prison but he didn’t make it that far. Later, he met Clementine and this was the time where the outbreak began. Christa asked for everyone else’s story. Ben was a kid, Chuck had no one left and Kenny lost his wife and kids about 2 hours ago.

Lee brought the duo down to everyone an told the group that they will be joining them in the journey as they needed some good people with them. Omid gave an introductory speech and told that they would join them on their journey.

Christa wanted to speak with Clementine first and Kenny asked Omid to learn the mechanics of the train in the event that anything went wrong. Kenny also suggested that someone should take a look at the train station that was a couple of meters to their north west.

Before heading out to the station, Lee approached Christa and Clementine and asked her if she had set any alarm bells yet. She replied that she didn’t and Christa acknowledged that Clementine was very thorough. He met Ben before meeting Omid, Ben told that he would kill himself if he ever gets caught by walkers and finds no other way out.

Omid learned how to drive and was eager to do it but Kenny was not having it. Kenny made it clear that only if something were to happen to him, then Omid may drive it. Omid suggested that they do it in shifts which was not a bad plan considering that the food situation was getting a bit clear. Lee asked why there was only 2 of them. He said that Christa didn’t let them join the big groups and he himself was a scrapper.

Lee bid him adieu and headed toward the station. Clementine followed him quickly and told that they were a team.

Lee checks the place thoroughly before entering. He found a huge sign made on top of the place and it was written by white paint. Once the lookout was done, it was time to enter the place. But, he found the door locked. He hauled Clementine over and found that the keys were nowhere to be seen but the locks to the door was made by the one on the top. Clementine reached it from the top and unhooked it. Moments later, they entered the dark room.

Lee left his weapon in front of the door to allow light to enter but he still had his gun. They both looked for something that could cut the oil tanker loose and found just what the were looking for.

A blowtorch. The bad news was, it was inside a prison cell. Luckily the top part of the fence was open. Lee helped Clementine up the fence and asked her for the keys but just then he heard a twitch and looked around to find a walker ready to pounce on him. He pulled out his gun but it was pushed away by another walker that attacked from the side. The gun slid toward Clementine but she was frozen up.
Lee walked back facing the walkers and toward his monkey wrench that he put in front of the door. He grabbed it and punished the first walker. The second Walker got a bit closer but he handled him as well.

Lee turned toward Clementine and found her hands shaking with the gun in her hands. He tried to calm her down when he heard that a Walker was inside the cell she was in. He asked for the keys from Clementine that hung from the hooks in the back of the fence. She handed him the keys and Lee swiftly takes out his gun, pointed straight toward the head of the walker and shot it in cold blood.
Christa came rushing in to check if things were okay only to find 3 dead walkers and 2 shaken up people.

After she went out, Lee asked Clementine what she learned from this experience. She said that she wasn't ready.

And so, Lee and Clementine share a sweet afternoon walk.

Lee and Omid made their way to the bridge with the blowtorch. Lee agreed to hold onto Omid while he would cut the oil tanker loose.

Their plan came to fruition but the walkers' were onto them. They had arrived in dozens and had a mean looking face. Ben was the lookout and he called it out.

Kenny fired up the train and everyone got on board but Lee and Omid were still on the bridge.

Now, Lee and Omid had only 1 option to survive: Jump. Otherwise, they fall back and get torn apart in the horde.

Lee asked Omid to jump. He denied, Lee asked again, Omid denied again. Lee made the jump, Omid followed behind but he fell off the roof of the train and fell on the ground.
Christa leapt out the train and helped Omid up as he limped to get away from the charging horde of hungry people.

Its Choosing Time

Lee could save only 1 person: either Omid or Christa.

I chose Omid because the guy was limping.

As they settled in the place, Lee and Kenny discussed their plans once they get to Savannah. Kenny asked Lee if he was sure that they would go out to find the Clementine's parents.

Just then Clementine's walkie-talkie spoke up. It called out to Clementine and asked her to come to him. The guy said that he had Clementine's parents with her and that she should come find him and not listen to Lee or the others.

Kenny asked Lee if his decision about finding her dead parents was wise. Lee understood that Clementine was brainwashed and going after her parents was a wrong choice.

And that ends the 3rd episode for the Walking dead series and boy was it a turnaround for the gang. Its a shame that the writers made Katjaa take her own life leaving Kenny alone. And Kenny was an unstable man if left unchecked. I wonder what Lee and Clementine loses in the 4th Episode.
