Hello, splinter-folks. I hope you all are doing well today.

Today, I want to share with you guys a battle that took me to the next level in the leagues. And honestly, this battle was not as star spangling and “shiny” as my usual battles. I merely beat an opponent that had almost twice as much rating as me, hence the huge reward in the end.
Without further ado, let’s begin!
Battle Conditions
The mana cap is 18 and there are 4 summoners to choose from: Water, Nature, Death, and Dragon. I went with the trusty Death summoner Thaddius Brood since it was the best summoner for low mana battles(for me).
Battle rules:
- Armoured Up: All monsters get a +2 shield.
Battle Details
Let's start from my side:
Summoner: Thaddius Brood(Ability: Decrease in HP and Magic damage by 1).
Tank: Cursed Windeku(Ability: Thorns).
Melee Attackers: Uraeus(Ability: Sneak), Silent Sha-vi(Ability: Sneak).
My strategy was to hit him from the back while dealing a good barrage from the front. My Windeku would do a damage of 2 and also a damage of 2 from the thorns should it hit a melee attacker of the opposition while my other melee attackers would do a full espionage from the back.
The overall damage is 7 per round. Adding in the thorns ability, it would be 9 damage per round.
Now for the opposition:
Summoner: Kelya Frendul(Ability: Increase in Speed and Shield by 1 for all allies).
Tank: Djinn Oshanuus(Ability: Void).
Non attackers: Merdaali Guardian(Ability: Tank Heal).
Melee attackers: Uraeus(Ability: Sneak).
Blocked Melee Attackers: Torrent Fiend(No Ability).
His strategy was to go on a magical crusade with Oshanuus while being consistently healed by the Guardian. He put up the monster of 0 mana in the back as a shield that would protect his only melee attacker. His melee attacker would do a major damage considering the mana pool.
The overall damage is 4 with healing of 3.
Major Events
His attack was decreased by 1 at the start of the game. That significantly put him in a disadvantage. The first monster to fall was his shield making this a 3 v 3.
The second monster to fall was in the third round and it was his Uraeus making it a 3 v 2.
The third monster to fall was his Guardian angel leaving him at a 3 v 1.
I was sure that the battle would end within moments but my melee attackers surprised me by missing their marks simultaneously. That got me worried but then I remembered that his attack was cut in half.
After 2 whole rounds, the mighty Oshanuus was beaten at last.
Results
It was clear who would win when I saw the monsters that my opposition had picked, an unfair battle for him as he was expecting a frontal battle. More over, his strategy was shredded piece by piece as the battle raged on. However, that sweet +60 rating was all that mattered to me in the end.
Congratulations on that victory bro! Those low mana battles are always a pain but when you suspect your opponent will use magic the best choice is the death class. Best regards.

Hell yeah, brother. I was expecting some weird badass monsters considering my luck and all but somehow my opponent was a high rated vegetable.
