A faster look to S&P500 shows it is retaking its way to rally.

U.S. stock markets are ending the week on a high note, with major indexes like the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow Jones all moving upward. This rally has been helped along by signs that trade tensions between the U.S. and China might be cooling off—at least for now.

The S&P 500 is not only up today but is also heading for its fifth straight day of gains, putting it back into positive territory for the year. The tech-heavy Nasdaq and the blue-chip Dow also saw solid increases.

Investors are keeping a close eye on what’s happening in Washington too. Progress on Trump’s tax reform plans and any new announcements about tariffs could shift market direction quickly.

Big Tech stocks had a mixed day: Alphabet (Google’s parent company) was up, while Meta (which owns Facebook) dipped. Still, overall, the tech sector has been one of the strongest performers this week.

If these trends continue, the markets could see weekly gains of around 5% for the S&P 500, 3% for the Dow, and more than 6% for the Nasdaq—an impressive showing that shows how much global events and policy moves can influence the stock market in the short term.
