Every Wednesday I remember it should be a special day for my blog, but I didn't stick yet the habit...
This time here I am with my last Wednesday sharing here.

Wednesday, April 23, 2025, started off promisingly. I woke up at 5:45 a.m. and arrived at school with enough time to spare. However, I reflected that I might need to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to enjoy my morning coffee more leisurely. That day, I had a special exam scheduled with a student named James, a somewhat peculiar, distracted, but friendly guy who is now in year 12. In the end, he was not separated from the group and was able to take the exam alongside his classmates. He begged the teacher to left him stay in. This gave me a little extra time to prepare what we call the "Catch-up" class.

What was interesting about this Wednesday was that my friend from Barcelona reminded me that in Catalonia, the Day of the Book and the Rose is celebrated. I made a post about this celebration that you can view here (Spanish version): https://inleo.io/@aljif7/sant-jordi-el-dia-del?referral=aljif7. Additionally, I had thought about making an English version, although so far I am still pending that version.

That day, my memories were filled with thoughts of my friends in Barcelona: Víctor, who sent me a greeting, and Laura, from whom I haven’t heard in a long time, despite the great moments we shared while teaching in Seoul. That’s life; little by little, we learn to accept that some people cross our path, bringing valuable moments, and then each one goes their own way.

I was thinking that I would have liked to gift a book that I always carry in my heart and read in my youth: "Diary: Heart of a Child." The adventures narrated in its pages made my imagination soar, and some characters resembled my high school classmates.

The day was cloudy, with a slight touch of mist. The school is located on a mountain, about a 15-minute walk from the subway station. Here’s a photo from the window and near the station.

After school, I went to give a private lesson in Lohas Park, where they have installed a playground with a trampoline for children to jump on. No one is seen in the photos because it was closed.

Then, I took some photos of the subway, where a short video of colorful fish in the sea caught my attention.

(I did a short video about this: Aquarium digital art

And of course Evie was waiting for me at home for evening walk...

I did a good walking: +14K steps

How about you? How was your last Wednesday?

That’s all for now, friends!
