Hey, a bit late, but I wanted to give a bit more developed reply to you.
We are in the same boat! I am actually a silver blogger now xD
My stamps obsession appeared in my teen years - I was very into the world ocean, biology of sea creatures, coral reefs etc. It influenced my stamps intrest in this certain field. Later (as my intrest in History grew up) I switched also to the stamps of colonies - XiX-XX centuries created a lot of amazing cases and stuff to collect, and to educate yourself about. When my childhood ended, I left all my 3 albums at parents house. Now, after three decades, I became inflamed again - all of a sudden - and, with the internet, online auctions (and more money, since I have my own salary now, not my mom or grandpas, hehe) -- the opportunities are much higher, and the stamps I can grab are far far more beautiful. Ofc, you may say that it is less intresting - now its just a Big Shop, where you can get evrything in 10 seconds if you have a wallet of proper thickness, thats true, this indeed can kill all the intrest in collecting. But still - I gave it a try! at least for now...
thanks for your kind reply, it really brightened my day! let me share Hive !PIZZA with you, Sir 😘 @benthomaswwd
