Handmade photo frame with ice cream sticks: Surprising My friend.

Hey beautiful people, how's life treating you? Well, if we talk about mine, it's full of exams, stress, and whatnot.
Yesterday, I finally got a one-day break during my exams, and I decided to spend my day a little more creatively and gainfully as well. And you know what I did? I decided to kick things up a notch and infuse a little extra creativity and productivity into my day.
So, I thought to myself, "Why not try something completely out of the box?"
And that's when it hit me that I'm going to make a frame, not just any frame, but a fabulous photo frame 🖼️ crafted entirely from ice cream sticks.

Material Used

  1. Packet of ice cream Sticks
  2. UHU ( Glue)
  3. Poster colours
  4. Decorative Beeds.
  5. A picture.

Procedure

Firstly, I bought a packet of ice cream sticks which cost me 80 rupees

I gathered about 6 sticks in a horizontal position and glued them together with 2 sticks on the top and 2 sticks on the back.
Then, I placed another stick on top to create a gap between the upper and lower sticks so that the picture could be inserted into them.

For the stand, I cut two sticks equally from the top and bottom and glued them at the back of the frame in order to support it.

Now, here comes my favorite part of the art, coloring. I chose a pink shade to color the whole art piece.

To give it a more blingy look, I added some colourful beads over it to make it look even prettier.

Surprising my friend

I have a beautiful friend nameMansha. She has been my roommate for the last 2 years, and we have spent some really memorable time together. But recently, we shifted to different hostels and couldn't find time to see each other. I was missing her so much. So, I decided to gift this frame to her.

First of all, I found her most favorite picture. Then I went to a photocopy gift shop in our hostel and got a printout of that picture. The picture was too big for the frame, so I cut it according to the frame's walls and fixed it in.

Ta-da, here's the final look.
Then, on April 24th, I went to her hostel and gave her this photo frame, and Oh my stars, you wouldn't believe the joy that lit up her face! I can't tell you how happy she was. She couldn't believe that I had crafted such a masterpiece and handpicked her absolute favorite picture.
So, in this way, it became a very memorable day and a treasure gesture for both of us .
I hope you liked it. If you did, don't forget to share your thoughts on it in the comments.
I'll catch you in my next blog. Goodbye, beautiful people. ❤️
