I agree with you the split season really made the difference in how we felt the pacing, and the character growth (especially Subaru) stood out just as much as the epic battles. That balance between action and deeper storytelling is what makes Re:Zero so unique compared to other isekai. Glad you shared your take, it adds a lot to the discussion.
