In every space created by man, we can find birds that, when seen perched there, further enhance the beauty of the place.

So here we see some beautiful, shiny black aquatic birds, corcomoranes, which are located at the anchor of a ship, even though this ship is very far from the sea.

This ship is a representation of the LEANDER, the corvette used by Francisco de Miranda on his first expedition to Venezuela in 1806, a crucial milestone in the country's fight for independence.

Miranda is known in Venezuela as the "Universal Venezuelan" because, in addition to his important role in the Venezuelan War of Independence, he also fought in the American War of Independence and the French Revolution.

Here we see these Corcomoranes, far from the sea in this artificial lake that has been filled with fish, which most likely feed in the old Parque del Este, which has since been renamed Parque Miranda.

In that artificial lake, there used to be a replica of the ship La Nina, where Christopher Columbus came from. However, the current government, for whatever reason—and whether you agree or not—has changed its excuse to further exalt national values, instead replacing it with this ship, which, as a great hero of independence, made the first expedition to promote the liberation of the Spanish people on that ship called the Leander.

Thus, these Corcomoranes further enhance the beauty of this ship, which is a reflection of Venezuela's glorious history.

VERSION EN ESPAÑOL

En cada espacio que realiza el hombre podemos encontrar aves que al verlas allí posadas aumentan aun mas la belleza del lugar.

Es asi que vemos aquí unas aves acuáticas de un bello y brillante color negro, los corcomoranes, que se localizan en el ancla de un barco aunque este barco se encuentra muy lejos del mar.

Este barco es la representación del LEANDER fue la corbeta utilizada por Francisco de Miranda en su primera expedición a Venezuela en 1806, un hito crucial en la lucha por la independencia del país.

Miranda llamado en Venezuela el venezolano universal ya que además de ser importante su lucha en la guerra de independencia de Venezuela, también lucho en la guerra de independencia de EEUU y en la revolución francesa.

Aqui vemos estos CORCOMORANES, muy lejos del mar en este lago artificial que han llenado de peces, los cuales muy seguramente ellos se alimentan en el antiguo parque del este, el cual cambio de nombre a parque miranda.

En ese lago artificial habia antes una replica del barco la niña donde vino CRISTOBAL COLON, pero el gobierno actual por la razon que sea y se puede estar o no de acuerdo pero la escusa de exaltar mas los valores nacionales se cambio en este barco que en gran prócer de la independencia hiso la primera expedición para impulsar la liberación del pueblo español en ese barco llamado LEANDER.

Así estos CORCOMORANES, exaltan aun mas la belleza de este barco, que es el reflejo de la historia gloriosa de Venezuela.
