SMP- W22: Pollution and it's effect to the environment.
Pollution is the contamination of the environment by harmful substances , which can affect the air, water, land, and even noise and light. It affects the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we live on. Pollution can come from natural sources like volcanic eruptions, but most of it is caused by human activities.
Pollutants can be chemical substances, energy forms like heat and light.

TYPES OF POLLUTION
Air pollution: Air pollution is sometimes caused by heavy factory machines, vehicles, smokes from firewood and even burning of fossil fuels.This is very harmful to humans because we inhale them. The effects of air pollution are, it affects the global warming, it can cause acid rain, it can also affect the human respiratory system and also depleting the ozone layer.
Land pollution: It is sometimes caused by industrial waste, deforestation and waste from homes and offices. Some industries sometimes throw way harmful substances on the land this can affect the soil and the vegetations around. It is also harmful to humans and animals.
Water pollution: Water pollution is sometimes caused by sewage, oil spillage and even industrial waste that comes across with water bodies.This can affect the animals in the water and is also unsafe for humans because it can carry waterborne diseases if taken.
We also have noise pollution which is cause by some industrial machines, construction machines which causes disturbance and loss of hearing.
There are also light pollution ( artificial light), Thermal pollution and Radioactive pollution(Nuclear powers).
EFFECTS OF POLLUTION
One of the major effects of pollution is that it affects the well-being of living things. It can contaminate the things we take into our body whereby bring health issues. It also affects the ozone layer, it also causes acid rain. It can also cause climate change and global warming. Therefore pollution affects the human life and brings poor quality of life.

SOLUTIONS TO POLLUTION
The government should provide proper way for the disposal of waste products from industries and homes and also enforce agencies to maintain the environmental law.

Now in our environment they are alot of mosquitoes which could lead to malaria, our health is really at stake
Pollution is very harmful to human. Most time i ask myself is it that the government don’t know how dangerous pollution is and why are they not taking it serious.
