Today, I reached another milestone on Hive. I have 500 staked HBD, which I want to keep there long term. A few years ago, I had about 4,500 HBD, but I used it to buy other Layer 2 tokens, such as LEOM from @empoderat, now known as @ferranlogs, or Gifu tokens, which @trumpman recommended to me. These were good purchases that have paid off and will yield more in the long run. This is one of the strategies that achieve a compound interest effect in the long term. The more you invest at the beginning, the faster the snowball rolls.

I want to reach 1,000 HBD this year, which will then guarantee 1,150 HBD at the end of 2026 and 1,347 HBD at the end of 2027 without me having to do anything else. If you continue to invest 20 HBD every month, you will have 1,418 HBD at the end of 2026 and 1,903 HBD at the end of 2027.
It doesn't sound like much, but if you save 20 HBD every month and reinvest everything, you will have 9,945 HBD at the end of 2036. The more you invest and the longer you hold the investment, the greater the profits will be. But you have to have patience and willpower. It's a long-term strategy and I'm laying the foundation now. Of course, I could grow faster if I invested more in HBD here, but I don't want to. At least not yet, because I need my cash flow for many of the projects we have going on. We are still considering whether to invest our emergency fund here, because if we need money, we would have it within three days. Three days is a long time in an emergency, but I need to discuss this with my wife to see if it makes sense to invest at least half.

At first, I was very skeptical about HBD, but now I see it as a stable investment and a very good alternative in the event of another bear market. What do you think?

Heute habe ich einen weiteren Meilenstein auf Hive erreicht. Ich habe 500 Staked HBD, die ich langfristig dort halten möchte. Vor ein paar Jahren hatte ich ungefähr 4.500 HBD, die ich jedoch benutzt habe, um andere Layer-2-Tokens zu kaufen, wie LEOM von @empoderat, jetzt bekannt als @ferranlogs, oder Gifu Tokens, die mir @trumpman empfohlen hat. Es ist eine Langzeitstrategie und ich baue jetzt das Fundament auf. Natürlich könnte ich schneller wachsen, wenn ich hier mehr in HBD investiere, aber das möchte ich nicht. Zumindest noch nicht, denn ich brauche meinen Cashflow für viele der Projekte, die wir am Laufen haben. Wir denken noch darüber nach, ob wir unser Notfallkonto hier investieren sollen, denn wenn wir Geld brauchen, hätten wir es innerhalb von drei Tagen. Drei Tage sind im Falle eines Notfalls viel, aber das muss ich mit meiner Frau besprechen, um zu klären, ob es nicht Sinn macht, zumindest die Hälfte zu investieren.

Anfangs war ich sehr skeptisch gegenüber HBD, aber inzwischen sehe ich es als stabile Wertanlage und als sehr gute Alternative für den Fall eines erneuten Bärenmarkts. Wie seht ihr das?
