What you ride is a horse or a goat?
It is neither a goat or a horse ( but I call it a horse hehe). His name is Torrent. They call it a "spectral steed", a mount that has horns like goats too, can be summoned with a magical whistle and given by a maiden to the tranished looking to become the Elden Lord.
At least that's how I understand it.
