Snowy Silence

Few things compare to the peace of a morning walk through a quiet snow covered forest. Especially when it is the first snow, soft as a pillow, the morning is sunny, and you are very very far from any big city. The pictures below were taken on one of those days.
No wind. Sunshine. Silence.
Not a soul in sight.
The snow is soft, crisp, and wonderfully pleasant to the touch.
It melts quietly in the sunlight.
You just want to fall into the snowdrifts.
An ordinary bush turns into something magical.
The morning sun makes the snow sparkle.
But it becomes truly magical when the snow falls from the tree branches, breaks apart into tiny flakes...
...and drifts down like golden white confetti right in front of you.
And just like that, an ordinary morning walk becomes a memory you carry for a lifetime. Thank you for stopping by!
