Últimamente no sé qué está pasando, pero nos hemos enfermado una y otra vez, la cosa es bastante seguida y ya estoy harta. Recientemente me enferme de las amígdalas, mi hijo se enfermo del estomago la semana pasada y le dio hasta fiebre y esta semana ahora tiene gripe. Una cadena de enfermedades que nos estan volviendo locos. A veces pienso que hay demasiados virus sueltos pero tambien analizando la situación hay un problema mayor que es el no consumir todas las vitaminas que nuestro cuerpo necesita.

Lately, I don't know what's going on, but we've been getting sick over and over again. It's happening quite often, and I'm fed up with it. Recently, I got sick with tonsillitis, my son got sick with stomach flu last week and even had a fever, and this week he has the flu. It's a chain of illnesses that is driving us crazy. Sometimes I think there are too many viruses going around, but when I analyze the situation, there's a bigger problem, which is that we're not getting all the vitamins our bodies need.

No puedo decir que estamos comiendo mal, pero realmente no estamos consumiendo todas las vitaminas que necesita nuestro cuerpo, las verduras y frutas se han vuelto muy costosas en mi país y eso nos ha llevado a descartar la gran mayoría de estos alimentos. Tomar un jugo ya es casi un lujo, al menos para nosotros.

I can't say that we're eating poorly, but we're really not consuming all the vitamins our bodies need. Vegetables and fruits have become very expensive in my country, and that has led us to discard the vast majority of these foods. Drinking juice is almost a luxury now, at least for us.

Y además de eso nos exponemos a cualquier tipo de gérmenes o virus al salir a la calle, evidentemente no podemos vivir encerrados, pero al no tener todas las vitaminas que necesitamos nos enfermaremos con mas facilidad… Hace dos días mi suegro llevo a pasear a mi hijo a un parque y por descuido mi hijo se cayo en una fuente, se podrán imaginar que esa fuente no estaba muy limpia que digamos… se mojo todos los zapatos y pantalón, un desastre total.

And on top of that, we expose ourselves to all kinds of germs and viruses when we go outside. Obviously, we can't live locked up indoors, but without all the vitamins we need, we'll get sick more easily... Two days ago, my father-in-law took my son to the park, and he accidentally fell into a fountain. As you can imagine, that fountain wasn't exactly clean... His shoes and pants got soaked, it was a total disaster.

La cosa es que desde el lugar donde estaban hasta casa era un camino largo, asi que mi hijo se la paso todo el camino mojado con agua de dudosa procedencia… Al llegar lo bañamos inmediatamente pero ya no había nada que hacer, se enfermo de una fiebre terrible y tambien gripe.

The thing is, it was a long way from where they were to our house, so my son spent the whole journey wet with water of dubious origin... When we got home, we gave him a bath immediately, but there was nothing we could do. He came down with a terrible fever and the flu.

Por ahora ha mejorado un poco pero no puedo evitar sentirme triste cuando el se enferma asi sea algo inofensivo su carita refleja malestar y no me gusta verlo asi, siempre lo mimo y le doy toda mi atención cuando esta asi, no he dormido casi porque la gripe siempre le da por toser demasiado y han sido dos noches muy difíciles.

For now, he's feeling a little better, but I can't help feeling sad when he gets sick. Even if it's something harmless, his little face reflects discomfort, and I don't like to see him like that. I always pamper him and give him my full attention when he's like this. I haven't slept much because the flu always makes him cough a lot, and it's been two very difficult nights.

Estamos a la expectativa de ver qué nuevo virus tocara nuestra puerta ya que no hemos salido de enfermedades tras enfermedades jaja.

We are waiting to see what new virus will knock on our door, since we haven't escaped from one illness after another, haha.
