My tablet after a year and a half of use.

Over a year ago, I bought this XP-PEN tablet, and based on my previous experience with the brand, I was sure it would be a great purchase. Although I hesitated a lot before buying it, I was really undecided when I finally had the money to invest in a new tablet, as my old one was quite worn out... The thing is, for the past few months I've been struggling with issues that seemed minor at first but have escalated and become an increasingly difficult problem when it comes to drawing. So today I want to share my experience with the XP-PEN Deco Pro tablet after a year of use.

When I received it and started using it, I was surprised at how quickly I adapted to it. It's really easy to use, and if you configure each key to your liking, it's even better. It makes work incredibly easier, especially the scroll wheel, which I use to change the brush size, saving me a lot of time. It's a truly amazing tablet, but over the days, weeks, and months, I noticed a few things that weren't working properly. For example, sometimes I like to put the color palette in a separate document and leave it open right next to my main workspace. Sometimes, I accidentally press the zoom button, and the image suddenly enlarges and moves to a different location. It's a minor issue, but it's quite inconvenient to have to readjust the other document window simply because I zoomed in. That didn't happen before; in fact, I could zoom in without anything moving at all.

I've recently experienced the worst problem yet: I'm drawing, and suddenly it sounds like the tablet has been disconnected. When I check, everything seems fine, but it's still unresponsive. For some reason, the connection pin is getting damaged, which I find extremely strange since I've always taken great care of my tablet. I always put it away after using it, and no one else has access to it, so I don't understand why this is happening.

As you may have noticed, the tablet comes with a small wheel near the keys. This wheel is super useful, but it also has a light, a very nice blue color that initially always lit up when I connected the tablet. There's even a setting to adjust the light intensity. However, lately, the light doesn't turn on unless I activate it manually, and the worst part is that even when I do, it turns off again the next time I connect the tablet. It has even turned off while I'm in the middle of drawing. This doesn't affect its functionality, but I have to say it's very annoying.

I can't say it's the worst tablet I've ever owned because if it weren't for all these problems, I'd say I love it, but that's not the case, and I'm worried because I'm noticing more and more defects, which is embarrassing considering how little I've used it. I'm afraid that one day it will simply stop turning on, even though I still have my old tablet, but I've gotten so used to this one that it would be very difficult to go back. I really expected better durability, especially considering how careful I am with all my things. In conclusion, I personally wouldn't recommend buying this drawing tablet model; small errors that gradually increase over time eventually lead to a disaster.
I'm sorry you had these problems. Maybe one product in 10000 can have malfunctions. I don't know. I have been using XPPen for many years and I am happy with two tablets and the 22" display that I have been using for many years.
