I'm a star

Hoy dibuje improvisando un poco y sinceramente tuve demasiadas ideas que se mezclaron y terminaron mal, al final salió otra cosa totalmente distinta pero que de igual manera me gusto, lo que al principio seria un retrato con tonalidades cálidas y un poco sangriento termino en un dibujo con tonos fríos y una estrella iluminando el ojo izquierdo, a pesar de las dificultades, siempre dibujar será una actividad que me ayuda a resolver problemas y aprendo a improvisar cada vez mas rápidamente. Espero que les guste.

Today I drew, improvising a bit, and honestly, I had too many ideas that mixed together and ended badly. In the end, the result was something totally different, but I still liked it. What at first was going to be a portrait with warm tones and a bit of blood, ended up as a drawing with cool tones and a star illuminating the left eye. Despite the difficulties, drawing will always be an activity that helps me solve problems, and I learn to improvise more and more quickly. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y comencé a pintar con colores cálidos, pero a la vez desaturados, trabaje un buen rato con esta paleta de color hasta ya casi terminar el dibujo que fue cuando me di cuenta que no estaba sintiendo satisfacción en como estaba quedando el dibujo, mas adelante cambie los tonos a un tinte azulado/morado. En una nueva capa agregue más colores dándole forma al rostro y luego los mezcle dejando una piel un poco mas suave pero con textura.

I made the sketch and began painting with warm, but desaturated, colors. I worked for a while with this color palette until I was almost finished. That's when I realized I wasn't happy with how it was turning out. Later, I changed the tones to a blueish/purple tint. On a new layer, I added more colors, giving shape to the face and then blended them, leaving the skin a little softer but with texture.

Luego pinte el cabello de un color marrón, agregue iluminaciones con un marrón mas claro y tambien añadí un poco mas de color en el rostro con tonos rojizos en la nariz, labios y debajo de los ojos. Para el fondo escogí un color azul desaturado y luego se me ocurrió dibujar una estrella grande en el ojo izquierdo, como siempre, finalice realizando un ajuste de color y agregando algunos toques de brillo en los labios, nariz y ojos.

Next, I painted the hair brown, added highlights with a lighter brown, and added a bit more color to the face with reddish tones on the nose, lips, and under the eyes. For the background, I chose a desaturated blue, and then I decided to draw a large star over the left eye. As always, I finished by making a color adjustment and adding some touches of glitter to the lips, nose, and eyes.
