Las vacaciones acabaron hace una semana, pero en vista de las cosas que han pasado en el país muchas personas decidieron no enviar a sus hijos a clases, yo fui una de ellas. Aunque no ha pasado nada malo quise prevenir cualquier situación desagradable. A pesar de que todo está relativamente “NORMAL” la escuela esta aplicando un horario especial, los niños salen una hora antes hasta nuevo aviso.

The holidays ended a week ago, but in light of the events that have taken place in the country, many people decided not to send their children to school. I was one of them. Although nothing bad has happened, I wanted to prevent any unpleasant situations. Even though everything is relatively “NORMAL,” the school is implementing a special schedule, and the children are leaving an hour early until further notice.

Volver a la rutina no es facil, a pesar de que ya me acostumbré a dormirme temprano, nunca me acostumbrare a madrugar, lo único que agradezco es que la escuela queda super cerca de casa y eso me da bastante ventaja. La situación actualmente parece tranquila, pero en este país nunca se sabe que pueda pasar, por ahora todo marcha bien y la mayoría de personas estan retomando sus vidas poco a poco, he visto lugares que aun no se atreven a trabajar horario completos.-

Getting back into the routine isn't easy. Even though I've gotten used to going to bed early, I'll never get used to getting up early. The only thing I'm grateful for is that school is really close to home, which gives me quite an advantage. The situation currently seems calm, but in this country you never know what might happen. For now, everything is going well and most people are gradually getting their lives back on track. I've seen places that still don't dare to work full hours.

Hoy el clima estuvo frio y no provocaba pararse de la cama, pero con mucho esfuerzo logramos hacer todo a tiempo y llegar temprano a la escuela. Cuando llegamos notamos que las guacamayas del zoológico se habían escapado jaja, por suerte mas tarde las recogieron porque ahí estaban corriendo peligro, estaban prácticamente paseando por un estacionamiento y yo solo pensaba que las podrían atropellar.

Today the weather was cold and it was hard to get out of bed, but with a lot of effort we managed to get everything done on time and arrive early at school. When we arrived, we noticed that the macaws from the zoo had escaped, haha. Luckily, they were picked up later because they were in danger. They were practically walking around a parking lot, and I just kept thinking that they could get run over.

Aunque no es lo común, mi hijo estaba bastante feliz por volver a clases ya que tiene su mejor amigo allá y quería verlo y contarle todo lo que hizo en la navidad jajaja. Me dijo que le fue bien hoy y por suerte su amigo tambien fue, me alegra mucho saber que tiene un mejor amigo ya que mi hijo siempre ha sido un niño complicado para relacionarse con otros niños. Y bueno, solo queda seguir nuestras vidas mientras aspiramos vivir en una normalidad que no conocemos.

Although it's not common, my son was quite happy to go back to school because his best friend is there and he wanted to see him and tell him everything he did over Christmas, ha ha ha. He told me that he had a good day today and luckily his friend went too. I'm very happy to know that he has a best friend because my son has always been a complicated child when it comes to relating to other children. Well, all we can do is get on with our lives while we aspire to live a normality that we don't know.

That’s good, and your child feels open with you. That’s better because if they have a problem, they won’t hide it from their parents. It’s a form of protection for them. 👍
