FungiFriday - Crepidotus & Stemonitis splendens mushroom
This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
Previously I was worried because I wouldn't be able to take part on the fungus feast on today's edition of FungiFriday, but last Wednesday I took the time to go to the location where I usually find mushrooms and the results did not disappoint. There are two types of mushrooms that I managed to find there, both of which I will share in this post.
The first mushroom is the Crepidotus mushroom genus which I usually find with a brownish color but this time the color is more interesting, namely pink and in my opinion the mushroom is similar to a pink fan.
Then the second fungus is the Stemonitis splendens fungus, a species of "slime mold" which looks like a small piece of sausage. And interestingly this fungus grows on rotting grass stems, this is the first time I have found this fungus growing there because I usually see it growing on small twigs or rotten sawdust.
