STB W80: Gifts that touch ☕

I think one of the best ways to show affection and love to people is with something that touches, something that the person likes and at the same time is useful.

This is my entry to the weekly challenge Spill The Beans Prompt: Week 80, answering the question:

Have you ever given a caffeine-related gift? Personalized mugs, fancy coffee beans, or even a coffee plant. What made you think that was the best choice, and how was the gift received?

On one of my trips to the Venezuelan Andes, I bought a coffee mug to give to my mum as a nice souvenir of my trip to those lands. The mug has the image of the Santo Cristo de la Grita and an image of the Virgin Mary. My mother, being a woman with a deep catholic faith, loved the mug, and when I gave it to her I could see the joy on her face when she received it.

Another of my special coffee-related gifts was a coffee mug with Christmas motifs that I gave to my aunt. She was longing for a Christmas coffee mug, she said that Christmas should also come to the kitchen and coffee would be no exception. She would put the mug away for the first few days of January and then on 1 December she would bring it out again to show it off in her moments of relaxation.

Many people sometimes give things that are not to the liking of the recipient, often they don't even use it once in their life, this is what I call giving for the sake of giving. If you want to please someone, give them something that will make them smile and that every time they see the gift they will remember you and think that the moment they chose it they remembered you.

For a coffee lover I think a mug will always be a good and nice thing to give as a gift. If you add to that some good coffee beans it would be the perfect complement. And if you want to show off even more it can be a greca coffee pot, I assure you that it will be an unforgettable souvenir. 😊

I hope you get your hands on a good cup of coffee. Hugs 🤗

something that the person likes and at the same time is useful.

The usefulness part is very very very important. A useful gift that solves a problem would be cherished over a luxurious gift.

This was an interesting read, well done.

I absolutely agree with this. I feel coffee a drinkers never get tired of new mugs as they add bliss and aesthetics to the moments.

A beautiful mug you gave to your mother. I remembered the mug I gave my mother on Mother's Day, I can imagine how happy your mother was with this beautiful.

Thanks for sharing your coffee experience with us.

Good day.

I have also given mugs with personalized messages, sometimes even with a personal photo. As you say, the mugs are an excellent idea for coffee lovers. Thanks for sharing dear @alborhada . A big hug from Maracay.

I loved your mug from the state of Táchira. I am going to give you one from the Basilica of Táriba which is my hometown. I hope one day we can toast with a good coffee. Thanks for sharing.

I totally agree with what you say about the meaning of gift giving. One should always choose what to give from the heart, choose something meaningful that the person likes and that creates a lasting memory.

I loved reading you, dear @alborhada ☕️❤️
