It's just that I've had long breaks and other things to do, so I haven't posted much, but I'm getting better organized so I can share with you more often! Today I want to share my latest digital drawing with you, one of ACE from the anime One Piece! Estoy muy contenta de volver a saludar a los miembros de esta maravillosa comunidad que es #TheAnimeRealm dentro de la fantástica plataforma #Hive. 💌 Sé que en las últimas semanas no he sido tan constante con mis publicaciones como solía ser, ¡pero realmente planeo volver a la normalidad a partir de esta semana! Es solo que he tenido largos descansos y otras cosas que hacer, por lo que no he publicado mucho, ¡pero me estoy organizando mejor para poder compartir con ustedes más a menudo! Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros mi último dibujo digital, ¡uno de ACE del anime One Piece! Honestly, I had wanted to draw Ace for a long time. One Piece is my favorite anime, and I really feel that some of the characters have incredible designs. Ace has one of the best designs in my opinion, despite being a little over the top in some ways, haha. I really loved his character 😭.
I also wanted to draw him because of the colors. I feel like in my digital drawing language, I mostly use cool colors, but Ace's warm and vivid colors, like those oranges and reds, are something I definitely wanted to capture, to make use of those oranges and vivid colors. I went on Pinterest as I usually do, and I was inspired by some fan art. I always do that, it helps me a lot! ♡༄˖°.🍂.ೃ࿔*:･
Sinceramente, llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo dibujar a Ace. One Piece es mi anime favorito y creo que algunos de los personajes tienen diseños increíbles. En mi opinión, Ace tiene uno de los mejores diseños, a pesar de que en algunos aspectos es un poco exagerado, jaja. Me encantaba su personaje 😭.
También quería dibujarlo por los colores. Siento que en mi lenguaje de dibujo digital utilizo principalmente colores fríos, pero los colores cálidos y vivos de Ace, como los naranjas y rojos, son algo que definitivamente quería capturar, para aprovechar esos naranjas y colores vivos. Fui a Pinterest, como suelo hacer, y me inspiré en algunas ilustraciones de fans. Siempre lo hago, ¡me ayuda mucho! ♡༄˖°.🍂.ೃ࿔*:･
I also look for references for my drawings on Pinterest, so this is the reference I used for this cute drawing. As soon as I saw it, I immediately thought of Ace! ♡

Let's get started! 💌 As I always like to mention at the beginning, the program I use to make all my drawings is Clip Studio Paint, and my graphics tablet is a Gaomon S620! ♡ The first thing I did was clearly the sketch. I used pink and purple colors for the sketch so as not to confuse things. I think I did it very quickly this time. The anatomy wasn't very complicated for me. I thought it would be more difficult with the arm and everything, but it was easy! ‧₊ ᵎᵎ 🍊 ⋅ ˚✮
¡Empecemos! 💌 Como siempre me gusta mencionar al principio, el programa que utilizo para hacer todos mis dibujos es Clip Studio Paint, ¡y mi tableta gráfica es una Gaomon S620! ♡ Lo primero que hice fue, evidentemente, el boceto. Utilicé colores rosa y morado para el boceto para no confundir las cosas. Creo que esta vez lo hice muy rápido. La anatomía no me resultó muy complicada. Pensé que sería más difícil con el brazo y todo eso, ¡pero fue fácil! ‧₊ ᵎᵎ 🍊 ⋅ ˚✮
With the sketch ready, I lowered the opacity of that layer and started doing the line art! ♡ For the line art, I did have some complications with the expression, especially, but nothing too serious. I wanted to do a different expression than I usually do. Lately, I want to do many expressions, play more with the elements, and so on, to have more varied works. I wanted to give his a radiant smile, but also a slightly sexy look that would fit with the pose I wanted to do, hehe. I also fixed some things in the anatomy of the torso. 🧡🍊⋆♡₊˚✧
Con el boceto listo, bajé la opacidad de esa capa y empecé a dibujar el lineart. ♡ Para el lineart, tuve algunas complicaciones con la expresión, sobre todo, pero nada demasiado grave. Quería hacer una expresión diferente a la que suelo hacer. Últimamente, quiero hacer muchas expresiones, jugar más con los elementos, etc., para tener obras más variadas. Quería darle una sonrisa radiante, pero también una mirada ligeramente sexy que encajara con la pose que quería hacer, jeje. También arreglé algunas cosas en la anatomía del torso. 🧡🍊⋆♡₊˚✧
With the line art ready, I moved on to adding the base colors! ♡ For the base colors, I always do this before painting the entire drawing in a single color, so that the colors I add on top don't stray from what I've already painted. I always mention this, but it's really useful. Then I added the base colors in separate layers for the skin, hair, and other details like the hat or necklace. This time I didn't have to render any clothing, so I saved a lot of time haha! I also changed the background color to white, as it really brings out the colors! ⋆⭒🧡˚.⋆
Con el lineart listo, ¡pasé a añadir los colores base! ♡ Para los colores base, siempre hago esto antes de pintar todo el dibujo con un solo color, para que los colores que añado encima no se salgan de lo que ya he pintado. Siempre lo menciono, pero es realmente útil. Luego añadí los colores base en capas separadas para la piel, el pelo y otros detalles como el sombrero o el collar. Esta vez no tuve que renderizar ninguna prenda, ¡así que ahorré mucho tiempo, jaja! También cambié el color de fondo a blanco, ya que realmente resalta los colores. ⋆⭒🧡˚.⋆
Once the base colors are ready, I move on to my favorite part: rendering! 💌💛 When rendering, I always start with the skin first. This time, I had to put more effort into rendering the skin, because our dear Ace here isn't wearing a shirt, and I wanted to render his abs well—nothing too realistic, but something that looked good and was distinguishable, not too flat. I started by adding blush to the face and then focused on the shadows, which I also made a little more intense than usual. I wanted this drawing to have slightly different lighting than I usually do, although nothing drastic. I focused on the shadows and finally on slight touches of light here and there. I was really satisfied with the rendering of the skin, especially in the abdominal area. I really liked how the light reflects and how the shadows play on them. I've definitely improved! °｡🍊𓏲⋆.🧺 ₊˚
Una vez que los colores base están listos, paso a mi parte favorita: ¡el renderizado! 💌💛 Cuando renderizo, siempre empiezo por la piel. Esta vez, tuve que esforzarme más en renderizar la piel, porque nuestro querido Ace no lleva camiseta y quería renderizar bien sus abdominales, sin que quedaran demasiado realistas, pero sí bonitos y distinguibles, sin que quedaran demasiado planos. Empecé añadiendo colorete a la cara y luego me centré en las sombras, que también hice un poco más intensas de lo habitual. Quería que este dibujo tuviera una iluminación ligeramente diferente a la que suelo usar, aunque nada drástico. Me centré en las sombras y, finalmente, en ligeros toques de luz aquí y allá. Quedé muy satisfecha con el renderizado de la piel, especialmente en la zona abdominal. Me gustó mucho cómo se refleja la luz y cómo juegan las sombras sobre ella. ¡Definitivamente he mejorado! °｡🍊𓏲⋆.🧺 ₊˚
Then I moved on to rendering the hair! ♡ It wasn't anything out of this world, as I find dark hair to be fairly quick to render, especially when it's straight black. First, I added some shadows at the bottom and top around the hat, then some subtle highlights, and finally the last little details I add to the hair, which are those little hearts and tiny streaks of light. It's a small touch, but it really makes it look much prettier and more textured! ✿🧡🍊🍹
¡Luego pasé a renderizar el cabello! ♡ No fue nada del otro mundo, ya que me parece que el cabello oscuro es bastante rápido de renderizar, especialmente cuando es negro y liso. Finally, I needed to add the finishing touches, such as the shading on the hat, the necklace, and so on, so I focused on that for the end! ♡ I changed the orange tone of the hat a little; I feel that the one I chose is more in line with the one he wears throughout the series. I also worked hard on the other details of the hat, such as the red pearls and blue faces. I'm not sure what they mean, but they're very distinctive of Ace HAHAAH. I also rendered the necklace with the same red stones. I really loved how the necklace turned out; the lighting I applied makes it stand out a lot. I also rendered the detail on the hat, which is like a skull of some kind. I'm not sure what it is either, but I couldn't leave it out. With that, I had rendered the entire character! ✨🌅🧡
Por último, necesitaba añadir los toques finales, como el sombreado del sombrero, el collar, etc., así que me centré en eso para el final. ♡ Cambié un poco el tono naranja del sombrero; creo que el que elegí se ajusta más al que lleva a lo largo de la serie. También trabajé mucho en los demás detalles del sombrero, como las perlas rojas y las caras azules. No estoy segura de qué significan, pero son muy característicos de Ace JAJAJA. También rendericé el collar con las mismas piedras rojas. Me encantó cómo quedó el collar; la iluminación que apliqué lo hace destacar mucho.
