Hello amazing people of the Music Festival Community. It’s another beautiful moment as I bring my submission for Week 141, Round 3 of the Hive Music Festival, where I will be presenting a cover of the song ‘Rahama’, a Hausa word that means ‘Mercy’, originally sung by Kaestrings.

Rahama is a song I recently fell in love with, mainly because of its unique composition, the depth of its message, and the way it was beautifully structured and presented. I can listen to it repeatedly without getting tired. I naturally enjoy slow-tempo music, and seeing how Kaestrings delivered this so excellently gives me joy and inspiration. This particular song by Kaestrings has truly blessed me on many levels.

The overall production of the song is also impressive. The lead vocal was delivered with so much emotion and clarity. The backup singers complemented the flow beautifully, and the instrumentalists played their parts excellently. Together, they created a rich and inspiring musical experience.

I genuinely enjoyed the original version of this song, and I hope you enjoy my cover just as much.
