Hello everyone! It’s another beautiful day to participate in the Vibes Web3 Music Competition – Week 32. I’m @akwash360, and today I’ll be doing a cover of the song Oghene Doh by Frank Edward, one of my favorite Nigerian gospel singers, as well as a talented record producer and songwriter from Enugu State.

I’ve been listening to and singing this song for years, but I never really took the time to understand the meaning behind the lyrics. I was always carried away by the sound. However, thanks to the Vibes Music Competition, I decided to dig deeper and do some research on the song.

And I must say that this is one of the most meaningful and inspirational gospel songs I’ve ever heard. The competition pushed me to properly learn and interpret the song, and I’ve come to understand that Oghene Doh simply means “Lord, I praise You.” Personally the song is a message and a prayer to me and I’m really blessed by the song and I hope it does the same to you.
