A Poetic Practice - Two works in progress
Dreams are made of these three things all the while they bring a smile on your face i picture you in satin and lace
Oft times the sun sets and night comes into the slumber of end of days have no fright for it's nothing but emotions blunder
Stepping wrong but no backward song for only closer into my arms no evil left to ward especially that bile coming out.
It's a one step misstep when the devil rings twice and you call out for a time out but all you very is a rain spout.
I can't stop thinking about you
It's eating me inside
Like a fire burning
Through the night
Keeping me all fuzzy and warm
Like a calm before a storm
But no ocean in turmoil
A peace I've not felt
I'm not going crazy
But I'm longing for you
Each waking second ticks
But moments pass in seconds
Only to breathe and it's two hours gone
Each worth my precious time
Spending them on you
Feels as natural as the morning sun
Greeting me for a brand new day
Warmth and sunshine waking my soul
I'm feeling each and every time, whole
I'm not even going to try explaining
I'm just gonna take it as it comes
When you speak it's like the early morn
Sweet rhythm feels my ears
Wonder where you been all these years
Of course life has lots of plans
Involving the sun sky and space
Hurling is together into this life's race
Witnessing your glow
Oh how it's all a hard blow
Into this reality that's so surreal
Every moment a wonderful feel
I can't wait to hold you when I'm far
I can't let go of your when your near
I'm not going crazy
I just know by my side you're here
Into the universe
Or better yet your voice I'll hear
I see you in my mind eye
You're all inside that's no lie
I'll see you soon Mami
A dish exquisite, so yummy
They say taste starts from the scent
Your fragrance is heaven sent
