Monomad: Unrelated Pollinators

These are different insect pollinators: a scoliid wasp and a Hubner's wasp moth. Despite sharing the name "wasp," they are unrelated.

The scoliid wasp is a vicious insect. It hides a venomous stinger in its tail. So never make it angry if you don't want to get hurt.

The Hubner's wasp moth, on the other hand, has no reliable weapons. But it does have something that can trick its enemies; it has a "tiger's tail." All it needs to do is flick its tail to make them cower. But it never does that because no one told it about that.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

These photos are my own, taken with POCO X3 NFC smartphone + external macro lens.
