Monomad: Helidragonfly

Dragonflies are predatory flying insects with an impressive shape. It had large bulging eyes, a muscular thorax, and a long tail.

I remember when I was a child, we had another name for dragonflies. We call it the "helicopter" insect.

Almost every afternoon we played in the field, we saw so many dragonflies flying above our heads. It was as if we were watching hundreds or even thousands of helicopters coming to invade our land. Maybe it's because we watched too many war movies such as "Rambo." Yeah, that's a silly but beautiful memory to remember.

Yesterday, I caught some dragonflies. I didn't mean to hurt them; just because I wanted to photograph them close-up. Those big eyes, that muscular thorax; it's so cool!
