Eretmocera Spiny-footed Moth (Eretmocera impactella)

Let me invite you to recognize this insect pollinator. Eretmocera impactella, known as the Eretmocera spiny-footed moth, belongs to the family Scythrididae. The species is distributed throughout almost the entire continent of Asia.

The moth's distinctive feature is its spiny legs, which mimic deer antlers. It has black wings adorned with golden yellow spots. Eretmocera spiny-footed moths are often found in shrubs brimming with flowers, such as Lantana.
