Crab Spider (Camaricus maugei) preying on an Ant

This epic moment was captured on my phone camera. I noticed a black ant facing an unfortunate fate in the jaws of its predator. The predator was Camaricus maugei, a species of crab spider belonging to the family Thomisidae.

It appears the ant put up a fierce fight, resulting in the crab spider losing two of its legs. However, in the final scene, the black ant succumbed to the crab spider's "hands." Most spiders have powerful and deadly jaws. Just one bite is enough to kill their opponent.
