Saturday Savers Club - 24 May 2025

Since it's the last Saturday of the month, I’d like to write a post for the Saturday Savers Club.

I converted the HBD I earned on Hive into Bitcoin and added it to my savings—about €70 this month. I used the V4V app on the mobile Hive Keychain app for the transaction.

One of the biggest highlights this month was joining Hive Creators Day in Graz, Austria. It was such a joy to meet fellow Hive users—some for the first time, and others I saw again after Hive Fest last year. Everyone was just as friendly and easy to talk to, and I had a truly lovely time. As a little introduction to the Food Culture community, I made onigiri to share. Somehow, the experience gave me this warm feeling: that even as adults, we can play around; that the world can be a kind place where we can feel safe and have fun. It was quietly moving and made me feel deeply grateful.

Being able to earn pocket money and connect with people around the world who live outside the box—it reminded me once again what a special community Hive really is. I’m already looking forward to Hive Fest in October. I’m planning to combine it with a family trip to India and extend the journey a bit.

今月最後の土曜日ということで、Saturday Savers Clubの投稿を書こうと思います。2025年5月にHiveの報酬としていただいたHBDをビットコインにして貯金しました。今月は約70ユーロ分。送金の際にはV4V appをモバイル版Keychainから使って送金しました。

今月はオーストリアのグラーツで開催されたHive Creators Dayに参加して、Hiveを使っているみなさんとお会いできたのも大きな収穫でした。はじめましての人たち、Hive Festで去年会った人たち、みなさん相変わらず話しやすくて、いい時間を過ごせました。Food Cultureコミュニティの紹介がてら、おにぎりを作って出させていただいて、なんというか、「大人だって遊んでいいんだ」「世界はやさしいところで、安心していっぱい遊んでいい」という感じられてじんわり幸せでした。

お小遣いがもらえて、常識にとらわれない世界中のおもしろい人たちとつながれて、Hiveってやっぱりいいコミュニティだなと改めて思った一ヶ月でした。そして、今から10月のHive Festが楽しみです。家族でのインド旅行と組み合わせて足を伸ばそうと思っています。

そうそう、最高値で迎えたビットコインピザデーもよかったですね！
