Plants sold out - a good gardening market day / 植物完売御礼！久しぶりのガーデニングマーケット

I participated in a gardening market held at the culture center in my neighborhood. I had joined this market once before, back when my daughter was just a baby, bringing along some shiso plants to sell. Compared to those days, I've definitely gotten better at talking with visitors and selling plants ☺️

It was deeply moving to see that my daughter was now helping me with German and arranging the display — growing into a strong and reliable companion.

All the shiso seedlings I had prepared sold out completely 🙌 The locally made shiso syrup also sold well, and the Mobile Garden products — which are currently being cleared out as we close the company.

The shiso that had been taking over the windowsills and balcony at home has now set off on its journey, leaving behind a space that feels both empty and satisfying. This year, I also learned the process and pace of growing seedlings for sale, which was a valuable experience.

Hive Garden stickers were taken to new homes — I’m hoping a few new users might join from my region!

This week, I’m looking forward to attending Hive Creators Day with Hive Garden stickers in hand.

今住んでいる地域にあるカルチャーセンターで開催されたガーデニングマーケットに参加してきました。まだ子供が赤ちゃんだった頃にも紫蘇を持って参加したことのあるマーケットで、当時と比べるとマーケットでお客さんと話すのも植物を売るのもずいぶんうまくなりました。ベビーカーで寝ていた子供は、私のドイツ語やディスプレイを手伝ってくれたりで頼もしい味方に成長しているのを感じて、感慨深かったです。

用意していた紫蘇の苗は完売御礼。地域で作っているシソシロップもよく売れて、会社をたたむために商品の整理をしているMobile Gardenもいい人たちにもらわれていきました。

家の窓際やバルコニーを占拠していた紫蘇が旅立って、スペースができてさみしいやらうれしいやら。今年は売るための苗を作るプロセスやペースを探求できたのもよかったです。

Hive Gardenのステッカーももらわれていって、あたらしいユーザーが地元から増えないかな！なんて。

今週はこのステッカーを持ってHive Creators Dayに参加するのが楽しみです。
