Flowers for autumn winter home / 秋冬の生花のすすめ

The other day, my daughter and I stopped by a flower shop. In autumn and winter, the house tends to feel a bit darker, so I often buy flowers for home. I was thinking of keeping it simple with just a couple of branches, but my daughter pointed at a huge (and rather pricey) protea — the red one in the back of the photo — and insisted we buy it. Since she rarely asks for things and it’s nice to try something new, we took it home. In the first photo, it almost looks like @pupiko is smiling at our purchase 😅

I’m looking forward to seeing what blooms we’ll meet this season.

Do you keep fresh flowers at home too? If you don't, just buy a flower or two. It’s surprisingly delightful.

先日子供と出かけた時に花屋さんに寄りました。秋冬はどうしても家の中が暗くなりがちで、お花屋さんからよくお花を買います。シンプルに枝物2本くらいな感じにしようかなと思ったら、子供が巨大かついいお値段のプロテア（写真奥の赤い花）を買おうと言い出し、あんまりあれこれ欲しいと言わない子だし、こうして新しいものにトライするのもいいかなと買って帰ってきました。冒頭の写真では @pupiko が笑っているみたいです 😅

まあまあの出費ではあるものの家計が火の車になるでもなく、秋冬の楽しみとして、お店で買うお花もいいなと思うのでした。今年の秋冬はどんなお花と出会えるか楽しみです。
