What is luck?

Greetings friends!

You toss a coin. You cannot know whether head will be the top or tail, until it comes down. Everything is unknown until it happens. But some things are certain. If you are doing physical labor, it is certain that you cannot become a millionaire until you win a jackpot. If you are born in a poor family, there is a great chance that you won't be a rich. If you are born in a powerful family, there are more chances of your success unless you blunder badly in your life.

So, destiny works here. Your family background decides your future and so is the society and country to which you belongs to. A child born in a rich family of a developed country has more chances to become successful than the child born in a poor family of a poor nation where society is highly backward. This is the luck. Luck is nothing but the chances of favorable events in your life. Family, society, environment, economy of the country, political stability in country all contribute to your luck. This is the game of life which favors the people who are already in a favorable condition.

Thanks!

You explained this very well. I would also add that true wealth is found in the heart. Even a poor man can become rich if he really wants to. But what he has to do is get out of his comfort zone. Rich people calculate with risk and do not live in the safety zone. If they happen to lose, they don't despair, but learn from the mistake and move on. Thus they progress to greater wealth.

OMG! Now I know. I was born in a poor family and yes, I'm amenable that I'm really struggling ever since. Aside from being the eldest child, I'm also the sole breadwinner. I came to the point that I sacrificed even my own happiness because of my responsibilities. But despite all of these, I won't stop believing that someday somehow, I can reap the fruits of all my sacrifices. 🙏
