The Endless Search for Pleasure and Meaning

Greetings friends!

In this world, humans are always in search of pleasure and satisfaction. We constantly seek opportunities that might bring us joy. To fulfill this longing, we created art, invented countless things, and devised systems to give our existence some sense of meaning.

Yet, this world is not a place where any creature can live freely without hindrance. Nothing here is free of struggle. Wild animals may appear free, but they must contend with predators, competitors, and parasites. Even predators must watch for rivals and survive their own battles with disease and scarcity.

Humans face all of these struggles and more. On top of natural challenges, we carry the weight of social, economic, and political burdens. Natural calamities further intensify our suffering. And unlike other creatures, our self-awareness does not grant us peace; it magnifies our restlessness, reminding us of life’s meaninglessness.

To cope, we turn to motivational speeches, inspirational quotes, and endless self-help philosophies to boost our morale. Above all, we created religion – a supposedly the supreme invention in our attempt to console ourselves. Through it, we convinced ourselves that our suffering will end someday, that there exists another world with no pain, no sadness, and no loss. These are the illusions we have created to hide the true face of the reality.

But those who have glimpsed the raw, unmasked face of this world often live in perpetual sorrow. They become misfits in society, unable to accept illusions, while those still sheltered by comforting beliefs seem comparatively happier. In my view, everything in this world is illusionary, devoid of happiness and truth. Illusion is painful but truth is more painful because it gives us no solution of our problem. I myself had experienced this.

There is no true escape from this cycle of existence. Death itself appears as the only solution. But what if death is not an end, but merely the beginning of another cycle of birth and suffering? We have no answer. So, we have to live and repeat the cycle.

Thanks!

This world is a painful place. Struggle, sufferings and pains are the things that are eternal while happiness comes in intervals and that is also very short lived. !LADY, !FUN,!LOL

Interesting take! The level of illusion in this world is quite high now, especially with the advent of the digital age. I think knowing that everything is temporary can serve as some form of consolation against the seemingly endless suffering that we tend to experience with life here on Earth.

Life is not a boon, it's a curse. We were non-existing before birth, we won't exist after death. Only a small fraction of time is the cause of all the pains and sufferings.

Not a crime - but something i dont like :) You can do whatever you want. U could decline the rewards or burn them here or on the third-party reward pool - whatever you like but me for myself dont like the greediness to be dancing on two weedings and get rewarded for just copy and paste :) Don't u agree with that?

Are you the guardian of hive or steem or do you think you are the police here? Is there any guideline or rule which forbids me to post on another blockchain? No, there is none. Has anyone given you authority to do so? I don't think so. You are also not the owner of this or that blockchain.

If you don't like you can ignore it. You have no right to judge anybody. If in your opinion I am doing a crime then you can sue me. At first I thought you have done it by mistake but your attitude is telling something else. You are bullying me. You wish to grab more and more from the reward pool. This is a crime. Do you understand?

Look at this. This was your post on Steemit: You accepted reward for this one liner post. Did you decline reward?

And see this one:

You posted youtube link and got that much from reward pool. Isn't this a hypocrisy? I know people like you. People like you pretend to be morally high but in reality ....you are immoral. 😃😃😃

Oh my God! What a great message by a great person. You are doing everything to get maximum of the reward pool while preaching like a saint. I am clueless.
