Greetings friends!

I was feeling during the first quarter of 2024 that crypto price would go up. That's why I started power down. It was going nice but I could not predict the optimum level at which I should have sold my Steem and Hive tokens. I become a blunder. I power down but could not sell at higher price. Also, these tokens didn't perform well. Steem could not break $0.5 level while Hive could not go beyond $0.65. On the other hand bitcoin broke all the past records and made new history. These tokens are not performing well now. So, I stopped power down and bought back my sold tokens.

Sometimes life gives us chances which we miss because of lack of knowledge, fear, greed and many other reasons. In 2021 when crypto market was on boom, price of steemonsters, now splinterlands cards' value was much higher. I had invested on buying those cards. Splinterlands gave me good profit. At its peak, total value of my cards were over $35000 which was a huge amount. I could have sold those cards and get good profit. I could have reinvest the amount received from this sell on buying more steem and hive tokens. Especially, when price of steem and hive was low. Instead of disinvestment, I invested more money on buying those cards. I thought they would go up but it never happened. Value of those cards are now just around $500. This is a huge decline. So, it is not only important to enter the market in appropriate time but also important to exist when there is enough profit from your investment.

AS you can see I power up with 250 Steem and over 1100 Hive tokens:

After buying steem and hive tokens I decided to power up. I didn't wait for #steempud or #hivepud event on the 1st day of the next month. Instead I power up all at once because waiting would have been bad for me as I can earn more curation rewards and interest from staking my tokens. I know crypto market is highly volatile. So, it is a safe thing to stake tokens where I may get benefit from it.

I am planning to increase my staking of Hive tokens. I'll delegate more to @ecency, @indiaunited etc. in future.
