I thought Hive price would also go up when Bitcoin and other cryptos' price goes up. I was ready to grab the opportunity if things had been in my favor. Finally during 2024 price of Bitcoin and other cryptos started going up. King of crypto Bitcoin crossed its all time high price range near 70k. Then it made newer and newer heights and crossed even 100k USD price range. Now, it is down a bit around $86k. But this price is still above its all time high prices of the previous bull runs.

However, Hive is not performing well. It could not even cross $1 when Bitcoin made the new history. Hive's high price was around $3 during the end of 2021. Since then it could never repeat that performance again. Being an optimist, I started power down my staked Hive tokens. But, that was my mistake. Hive price couldn't reach to the point where I could have made a profit from it. So, I decided to power up again. Finally, I have stopped powering down and this time I power up again on the day first of the month. Power up is the best thing then to wait for the token price to go up. Staking increases RC, vote value and curation rewards. So, it is better thing to do.
