A beautiful afternoon spent with my friend at the Him Parvan of Dhaka University.

Hello Buddies! Welcome to my new blog. The harshness of winter has been decreasing for some time now. Although there is mild cold weather in other parts of Bangladesh, it is almost non-existent in Dhaka. It seems that spring is announcing its arrival through the appearance of the sun and colorful flowers. After overcoming all the harsh weather of winter, nature has decorated it in a new way. In harmony with nature, our Dhaka University campus and various programs are being decorated in a new way. Various Pitha festivals, Himparvan concerts are being organized almost every week by various organizations including DUCSU, Islamic Students' Association, Chhatra Dal.Yesterday, Him Parvan was organized in front of Kala Bhavan. My friend and I went there to spend some beautiful moments.

This Him Parvan program was organized by the Islamic Student Association mainly for the students. There is an old banyan tree in front of the Kala Bhavan, its premises are beautifully decorated with colorful cloths and some rural materials. The entrance ticket inside was made with red and yellow white thin paper. Many people took pictures there, so I also took a picture to keep as a memory. Then I was captivated as soon as I entered. The middle of the field was decorated with red and yellow cloth to enhance its beauty.

The small and large works of art around the banyan tree and the surrounding trees were beautifully lit. They looked amazing. The most interesting thing is that the stage that was made here was mainly decorated with straw, bamboo baskets, and artificial flowers. I found them really lively. How beautifully the rural environment has been portrayed!

There were a few shops in the event premises. The most interesting thing here is that the small stalls have different names like Kamini, Pratiksha, Pradipta, Shiuli, Bakul etc. In each stall, not outsiders but female students of Dhaka University were selling various items like pitha, women's chori, bracelets, sarees and many other ornaments. This does not only limit the girls to their studies and jobs, but also inspires them to become entrepreneurs. There was a free henna corner here but I did not see it there after I went, probably the henna had run out.

There were also two photoshoot zones. One of the photoshoot zones where my friend and I went and took beautiful pictures was 'Justice for Hadi', which was originally done in memory of Shaheed Osman Hadi. The afternoon sun had slightly decreased as the evening approached. At the same time, our little experience started to turn into a memory. I hope you liked this little event, which I have highlighted through my blog. Each of your comments is an inspiration to me. Do let me know how you liked it!

See you in the next Post😊🤗
