My Breakthrough Moment

Truly, there are moments that matter, there is a particular moment that I can never forget in my life, because it matters so much. A friend of mine called me on a fateful morning, seeking my assistance to make enquiry for him on where to get office furniture in bulk. He called me because I live in a city. However, the assistance seemed so difficult to me because I was really sick at that period, and I didn't know the actual place he could get office furniture, except I went out to also make enquiries. Nevertheless, I forced myself to go out to help him, because it was a matter of urgency.

Not long after I stepped out, I got a call from him that I should not bother about it again. He told me he had got an alternative. I had however gone out and was already on the road. So, I told him that there was no problem. As I was about to turn back home, my spirit told me not to go home since I had already made it out. I was encouraged in my spirit to use the opportunity to look for contract. Normally, I am a building material supplier, that goes around, especially to construction site to look for work, but I stopped going around a while ago, due to the sickness, until that very day, that I stepped out to help my friend.

So, I listened to the spirit of God and used the opportunity to look for construction sites, instead of going back home. So, the bus I boarded stopped in front of a university, even though I didn't have a particular place in my mind. I alighted from the bus, and went straight into the campus. As I walked around, I saw two construction sites, but they both said they already have their suppliers. So, I appreciated them and turned back as I turned, one of the engineers called me and asked why I chose to be a supplier. He was moved by my story and told me he would connect me to people that matter. I couldn't believe my ears. He went further to tell me that my line of work needs just connection .

Interestingly,he called someone in front of me, and told the person to give me contract. Surprisingly, I got the contract and that was my biggest contract ever. Yes, it was so loud. I couldn't believe how a moment of helping a friend turns to a life-changing moment in my life. My fellow hive students, that particular moment matters forever and it teaches me to do good always.
