Kiss: Minimalism _The Right Way To Life

Happy New Week guys, I hope we are all doing fine. I have come to share with you the positive effects minimalist lifestyle has had on me. First and foremost, I will say this lifestyle is why I am a university graduate now. You know minimalist lifestyle has always been about making do with what you have or can afford. This lifestyle has been my primary teacher of contentment.

So, when I had admission into university, it was a challenging year for my parents. They weren't just financially capable at that moment. My parents had three children and I am the middle child. My elder sister had also gained admission two years ahead of me, but she didn't proceed with it for lack of money. She knew it wouldn't be easy and she's more of a private person. She told our parents she wouldn't be able to cope. So, she opted to working at a place and she started making money. So, when it was my turn, I told my parents to just raise my acceptance fee, and if possible part of my tuition fee that I would cope.

Guys, even though I had no expectations, I just knew I could do it. I had no plans to be extravagant. I had no plan to spend frugally. I just knew following those minimalist principles will guide me throughout the four years. And it was just like, though there was pressure here and there to follow the trend. I never compromised. On my matriculation day, people cooked, their families brought cakes and drinks. I didn't have any of those, but I looked good. I had one nice gown on with my shinning flat shoes.

Thanks to my minimalist lifestyle, I was never in competition with anyone. I used to get most of my clothes from second hand stores and ironed them well. In fact, things were easier than everyone in the family thought. But I knew it wouldn't be that simple if had not been for minimalism. It helped me ignore the unnecessary things while I focus on things that matter. Minimalist Lifestyle helped me Kee my head high while in the university. It made believe we don't have to have all the things in world to succeed. It thought me that the little I have can go a long way. I graduated for years later. I worked a little, went back for my Master's degree and graduated.

My elder sister, though hardworking, caring and lovely couldn't further till now, due to the fact that she didn't go when she supposed; the delay, the money she was making couldn't just allow her to go back. If she had gone then, with a minimalist mindset, I'm sure she would have done it excellently. My younger sister is now a minimalist and I'm glad she's doing well. In fact, I will say minimalist lifestyle has been a blessing to me.

Thanks for reading.
