Review | Jurassic World Rebirth - Returning to its origins [ENG/ESP]
Today I went to the movies with my friend @iuliapetit2711. We really wanted to see Jurassic World Rebirth before it leaves theaters.
After the last movie, you might think, “What else can they get out of this series?” I thought the same thing, but I think the plot had a different feel this time compared to the last few movies. I think it went back a little more to its roots, to its first movies, which could be a good reason for its title, “Rebirth”.

Hoy fui con mi amiga @iuliapetit2711 al cine, teníamos muchas ganas de ver Jurassic World Renace antes de que la quiten de la cartelera.
Quizás después de la última película uno podría pensar "Que más le van a sacar a esta serie?" Yo pensé lo mismo, pero creo que la trama tuvo un toque diferente está vez en comparación con las últimas películas, creo que volvió un poco más a sus raíces, a sus primeras películas, podría ser una buena razón de su titulo "renace".

To tell you a little bit without giving too much away, we are in a world where dinosaurs have returned, spread throughout the world, and years have passed since the last film (so there are new characters). However, the Earth's climate conditions are unforgiving for dinosaurs, so they are once again on the road to extinction. Let's just say that now a dinosaur could die in the middle of the city. The only place where conditions are suitable and similar to the Jurassic era is in the equatorial regions, especially on an island, a forbidden area where dinosaurs live. So far, so good. They turned the script around to have them all in one place again. Having them scattered around seemed absurd to me.
Para contarles un poco sin hacerles mucho spoiler, estamos en una mundo donde los dinosaurios volvieron, se distribuyeron por todo el mundo, han pasado años desde la última película (por ende hay nuevos personajes), sin embargo, las condiciones climáticas de la tierra implacables para los dinosaurios, así que otra vez están camino a la extinción, digamos que ahora puede ser que un dinosaurio se muera en plena ciudad. El único lugar donde las condiciones son aptas y parecidas a la era jurásica es en las regiones del ecuador, sobre todo en una isla, un área prohibida donde habitan los dinosaurios. Ya por ahí vamos bien, le dieron la vuelta al guión para volver a tenerlos todos en un mismo sitio, eso de todos regados me parecía absurdo.
Una empresa millonaria requiere ADN de las tres especies más grandes, para una medicina revolucionaria así que contrata a unos mercenarios, entre ellos a Zora Bennett la líder de la expedición, interpretado por Scarlett Johansson y un científico experto Dr. Henry Loomis, interpretado por Jonathan Bailey en dinosaurios para ingresar en esta área y conseguir el ADN. Y por otro lado tenemos a una familia en un viaje en bote que por un desafortunado encuentro con un Mosasaurio también termina varado en la isla.
Now, the expedition team will not only have to obtain the dinosaurs' DNA, but they will also have to do so before they arrive to rescue them, try to save the family, and hide from the other dinosaurs and mutations because that island happens to be a Jurassic Park research center, so they won't have it easy.
Ahora, el equipo de expedición no solo tendrá que conseguir el ADN de los dinosaurios, sino que también va a tener que hacerlo antes de que lleguen a rescatarlos, intentar salvar a la familia y esconderse de los otros dinosaurios y de las mutaciones porque esa isla resulta ser un centro de investigación del Parque Jurásico, así que no lo tendrán fácil.
As always, the film has an easy-to-understand storyline, although it may move too quickly, with many scenes and moments crammed into a short time. There is no filler, as the two stories unfold in parallel. Of course, there are deaths, antagonistic roles, the millionaire who thinks he can do anything, a mercenary with a tragic past, and that idealistic, dreamy character who seems a little silly but brave, like Dr. Henry.
La película como siempre, tiene una historia fácil de entender, quizás va muy rápido, metieron muchas escenas y momentos en un corto tiempo, no hay relleno debido a que se desarrollan las dos historias en paralelo, por supuesto hay muertos, papeles antagónicos, el millonario que se cree que puede con todo, una mercenaria con un pasado trágico y ese personaje idealista soñador que parece un poco tonto pero valiente como el Dr Henry.
I think there are moments where depth is added to some of the characters, without saying much, but it's there and it drives the way they make their decisions. This time, the dinosaurs take center stage. We return to Jurassic Park, and there are scenes that reference the original, such as those in the kitchen, the use of flares, the three main characters from the original, the T-Rex always chasing someone, and the children who are always present. I liked the prominence given to the Mosasaurus, which takes up a good part of the film, much more than the others. The story is predictable, but in my opinion, it was entertaining.
Creo que tiene momentos donde se le agregan profundidad a algunos los personajes, sin mucho decirlo, pero están ahí y conduce la forma en la que toman sus decisiones. Esta vez, tienen más protagonismo los dinosaurios, volvemos a Parque Jurásico, hay escenas que hacen referencia a la original como las de la cocina, el uso de las bengalas, los 3 personajes protagónicos de siempre, el T-REX siempre persiguiendo a alguien y los niños que nunca pueden faltar. Me gustó el protagonismo que le dan al Mosasaurio que se lleva una buena parte de la peli, mucho más que los otros, la historia es predecible, pero a mi parecer estuvo entretenida.
Ah, un punto importante, hay una parte de la peli que hace una reflexión muy importante sobre el papel de la humanidad en el planeta. El planeta va a seguir existiendo, somos los únicos animales que estamos probando nuestra propia extinción y aún así nos hacemos llamar seres más "inteligentes", se entiende fácilmente la crítica a la sociedad.
Overall, it's a movie with touches of humor and action, and there's a new terrifying and horrible dinosaur, so I think I could watch it again. It's nothing new, relevant, or shocking that will surprise the audience, but if you want to have a good time and pass the time, it can do the trick. And if you haven't seen the previous one, you can watch it without any hassle because it gives you a good context at the beginning.
En general es una película con toques de humor, acción, hay un nuevo dinosaurio aterrador y horrible, así que creo que la podría ver otra vez, no es nada nuevo, relevante o impactante que sorprenda al público pero si quieres pasar un rato agradable, pasar el tiempo, te puede servir y si no has visto la anterior también la puedes ver sin rollo porque te da un buen contexto al principio.
